Hady Kfoury, Owner
As a graduate from Ecole Hotelière de Lausanne in Switzerland, Hady Kfoury is passionate about hospitality. He is not only an experienced restaurateur, but he has worked in some of the best restaurants in New York City. Kfoury started as an intern at Daniel, which has received four stars by The New York Times, and he worked his way up to an Assistant Banquet Manager. He then became the Assistant Director of Operations at two-star, Payard Patisserie & Bistro. Following, Kfoury was a part of the opening team of Payard in Manhasset, Americana Mall in Long Island, and then, he returned to NYC to become a Night Manager at Mark in the Mandarin Oriental.
In addition to his Manhattan career, Kfoury is a Managing Partner of three popular restaurants/bars in Beirut, Lebanon: Cocteau, White and Eight. The first, Cocteau, has been the leading and highest ranked best upscale French restaurant in Beirut since it opened its doors in the summer of 2004. White, which launched in 2006, has been equally as successful as a trendy, famous restaurant/lounge with an open-air setting, and Eight is one of the hippest restaurant concepts with a French fusion cuisine served in a fashionable and elegant atmosphere.
Kfoury's vision for NAYA is to create a restaurant platform for traditional Lebanese food in a contemporary fashion, eventually franchising the concept to numerous locations. Hady launched a new successful Lebanese quick service NAYA Express in Midtown East.
